Cats looking for homes – June 2011

BIGGLES

11 year old black smoke Devon Rex neutered male.  He does not act his age and is a lively boy.

Has been no trouble with other cats.  Friendly, once he gets to know you.   Has lived indoors in his last home,

but he would like to go outside – so would prefer a home with a secure garden or at any rate away from busy roads.

No health problems that we know about.  Uses his litter tray, and does not spray.

Currently in foster care in Surrey

POLLY

A very attractive 5 year old female neuter Selkirk Rex variant – straight coated and looks like a British Shorthair.

White, with blue and apricot patches.  Approachable but doesn’t like to be picked up.  Has a chronic urinary tract disorder

(fully checked out by vet) and was rehomed because she was not always using her litter tray.   She needs a home where she can share living quarters with other cats or one other cat outside the home – maybe as a companion for a stud boy or an ex-stud boy.

She’s not an outdoor cat though – needs “homecomforts” – just not the same home comforts as her owner!

She may be able to go out into a garden in time.

Currently in foster care in Surrey

COOKIE

A 2 year old blue silver tabby female neuter Devon Rex variant (straight coated).   Indoor cat, very shy at the moment.

Used to other cats.

Currently in Sussex.

MAYA and PISA

An inseparable pair, mother and daughter.  Must be homed together.  Maya is aged 11, and does not have a Devon Rex look,

though she is curly, but her 9 year old tortie daughter Pisa is very typically Devon in appearance.

They are indoor cats, approachable and friendly; probably better without other animals in the house.

Currently in foster care in Kent

ROSIE AND GOLLUM

Two  tortie Cornish Rex female neuters who must stay together, aged 9 and 13; owner moved to smaller house

and cannot keep them.

The older female, Rosie, has no tail (has been amputated in the past) and has a chronic snuffly nose

(vet attention has been given over the years but this is a permanent condition and may need occasional treatment).

These two girls are gentle and affectionate.

Not ready for rehoming yet, but should be be in a month’s time (mid July)

Currently in foster care in Surrey
